TranquilPC Microcode Update for Speculative Execution and Indirect Branch Prediction Side Channel Analysis Method

TranquilPC is aware that the current Intel® microcode version might be subject to recently identified security vulnerabilities. We are diligently working with Intel® and board manufacturers to update systems affected and will update this article with information as it becomes available.

We recommend customers update their systems by downloading and applying the latest OS Updates and BIOS if the make and model of motherboard is known, as soon as the relevant revision becomes available. We encourage customers to review Intel’s Security Advisory for information, including appropriate identification and mitigation measures.

TranquilPC LTD recommends customers to follow security best practices for malware protection in general to protect against possible exploitation of these analysis methods until any future updates can be applied. These practices include promptly adopting software updates, avoiding unrecognized hyperlinks and websites, and following secure password protocols.

For detailed information of the security issues, please visit the Intel Security Center.
