Installing Tranquil Home Server Help Add In

Tranquil PC have developed a unique tool to help us to help you, and your Tranquil Home Server, it's called Home Server Help - or HSH.

The tool provides a link from our technicians directly to your Home Server, so that we can trouble shoot and assist.  The tool allows our technicians access to your Home Server without your intervention.

Once the issue has been resolved you can un-install the HSH Add In for peace of mind (we can't reach your Home Server after the HSH Add In has been un-installed)

To download the HSH Add In please click here

Please SAVE the .msi file to your Home Server | Software | Add Ins folder.

Then you can install the HSH Add In - please see the screen shots below :

1.  Open the available Add Ins - and look for Tranquil Remote Assist - and click on Install

2. Once installed please re-open the Home Server Console - and you will see the Home Server Help option - Please click on Install

3.  The HSH Application will be downloaded and Installed

4.  Once the installation is completed you will see your unique Machine ID  (ie 0003B6F1 as shown below)

5.  You should now click on the blue hyperlink 'Tranquil Home Server Help'.  You will be taken to a web page where you should enter your details
Please complete the details as fully as possible, so that your issue can be resolved promptly.

6.  You will receive an email from support@tranquilpc.co.uk once the technician has completed the task (normally within 24-48 (working) hours.
